The original fortification at Sacsayhuaman pronounced sexy woman was built in the shape of a jaguar. Much stone was removed to build Cusco and the zig-zag walls that remain were the teeth of the jaguar so the size of the original can only be wondered at. Some of the stones are absolutely huge and yet they fit together with no gap and each stone is cut to closely butt up to its neighbours.
